Mitzvot are elemental ideas in Judaism, coming straight from Torah text. The Mitzvot are the foundation values of the Jewish people. Some are commands, like DO THIS! and others are warnings, DON’T DO THIS! New lenses, like art, on the mitzvot system as well as on individual mitzvot help us connect with their meanings and resonate deeper for us both individually and in community.

The 613 Exhibit can be a stand alone workshop or a year of community engagement. Assign out the mitzvot, create art workshops, include lessons for all ages, collect and gather relevant art work, then install exhibit.
